The Saturday before Easter we took the boys to an Easter egg hunt at the local high school. It was lame. It was more of a race. We were in the 0-2 group. The parents were picking their kids up and running to get more eggs. I saw a dad stuffing his own pocket full of eggs. It was a little ridiculous. Ezra got three eggs and he was totally proud of them. He still remembers the colors: orange, blue and pink. He ate all his candy before I could stop him.
We spent Easter Sunday at James' sister, Amy's house with her husband John and their children, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Trey and Brayden. Grandma Lene and Pop-pop (James' mom and step dad) flew in from Maryland and his sister Katie her husband Alex and their two girls, Maya and Hailey drove up from Utah. We were missing James' sister, Erica, her husband, Dusty and their children Amanda, Ashley, Evan and Austin. They were with us in thought.
Easter morning Grandma Lene almost stepped on all the Easter baskets the "clever" Easter bunny hid in the tub, so we moved them to a different room where the kids found them immediately.
Then we all got dressed and went to church. Grandma Lene got this adorable outfit for Makai. What a stud.
We had a wonderful ham dinner and then ventured outside for an Easter egg hunt.
Then we went inside to eat candy and open all our eggs.
(James liked the eating candy part since he's been on a "no-candy diet" to prove a point to me.)
We had a blast. AND we had a great Easter. I hope you all did as well.

First of all, that city easter egg hunt WAS a joke! Caity got two eggs (somehow) and they both had black liqurish (sp?) flavored candy! lame. It was kind of funny though to see all those kids running! Second of all, Makai is so stinkin cute! What a cute little easter outfit (and I love Ezra's little shoes.) and third of all, thanks for sharing your easter!
Both of your boys have super cute church outfits! It looks like you guys had a fun day with a lot of family, that's the best!
I would have loved to spend Easter with you. Maybe we can once you move closer.
